A Family Legacy

In 2006, our family decided to turn a lifetime of mountain vacations into a permanent way of life. While Jim and Debbie were already settled in Blairsville, Brad and Shawna made the move from Marietta to raise their family in the community they loved. Together, the four of them founded Mountain Top Furniture, fueled by a shared passion for the area and a desire to help others make their own mountain homes feel complete.

While the store originally offered a wide variety of styles, we eventually found our true niche in mountain-style Amish furniture. Today, Brad and Shawna continue to operate the business, carrying on the vision Jim and Debbie helped establish. We are proud to connect our customers to a celebrated tradition of handcrafted quality that helps every family enjoy their home in the hills just as much as we do.

2015 brought the addition of a new 3,000 square foot warehouse complete with 3 loading docks. This not only helps us stock more of our best selling items, it makes our jobs a little easier and helps us handle furniture better to prevent any scratches or dents that might occur unloading/loading off high trucks.

In 2016 we began our front porch addition which we opened up Spring of 2017. We added on several thousand square feet of outdoor showroom space. It’s a place where we love to host cookouts and live music for the community throughout the year!

Because our Mountain Top family had grown substantially, 2020 brought the addition of offices and a break room in the second floor of the store. We now have offices to accommodate all of our employees comfortably!

In 2021, we finished a large addition of showroom that showcase pieces made of top grain leather, luxury modern mountain furniture, traditional pieces, and more. We now have a total of 15,000 square feet of showroom space! 

In 2023, when the neighboring home property came up for sale, we decided to purchase it and we dove deep into gutting, renovating, updating, and upgrading. Our end goal in mind? Mountain Top Décor!

For years, one of our customer's favorite aspects to Mountain Top Furniture was our upstairs décor section. Once the employee offices went in upstairs, the décor was moved out and we continued to hear about how much people missed and loved browsing the selection.

So we wanted to bring it back - bigger and better than ever! 

Now, located on the same property as Mountain Top Furniture, adjoined by our newly paved parking lot is Mountain Top Décor! Here, we proudly offer a rotating and always fresh display of home goods. We show kitchen, lighting, bathroom, rugs, office, curtains, gardening, and so much more. Come see this beautiful new addition to Mountain Top and enjoy all that we have to offer!
