How to Care for your Epoxy Wood Slab Table
Caring for your New Epoxy Slab Table
You’ve just invested in a gorgeous one-of-a-kind epoxy slab table and you’re wondering how to keep it looking sharp and brand new for years. We’re here to help by providing tips and care techniques to keep your epoxy wood slab table in great shape.
How to Keep the Slab Top Clean
Caring for an epoxy table requires cleaning and protecting both the solid wood slab as well as the epoxy river running through it. Like any other piece of furniture, keep it dusted regularly (once or twice a week). This will help prevent any buildup on the table top’s surface.
When cleaning the table, use a soft damp microfiber cloth with water or a cleaner without harsh chemicals. We use and suggest Heirloom Essential’s furniture and glass cleaner, which you can see below. It is also orderable through Amazon.com. After wiping the table with a damp cloth, follow behind it with a dry cloth to remove any leftover moisture to avoid stains. Never use an abrasive or stiff sponge or cloth on wood or the epoxy surface.
